The Textorcist: The Forgotten Relics

The new content was just released, in it you will find dozens of new ways to textorcise the hell out of people, but now at your personal leisure! A lot of new game-changing items and two new game modes crank up the replayability to a new max. Let's check out the details:

Boss Rush
After finishing the game, players will unlock the Boss Rush mode by continuing the game. This mode can be accessed from the title screen and features all bosses in a row inside a new arena, with its own leaderboard and Trinkets enabled.

Trinkets
There are 30 (+1) Trinkets to be earned in the Story Mode. Every Trinket can grant a bonus and lower the player’s score or can grant a malus and raise the player’s score. To get a Trinket, the player must defeat bosses and every boss can drop three Trinkets. Tier 1 Trinkets are dropped just by beating a boss, tier 2 Trinkets are dropped if the player beat a boss without losing hearts and tier 3 Trinkets are dropped if the player beats a Boss without any typing errors.

Players start with 0 slots and by simply progressing with the story they will gain slots up to a maximum of five. Trinkets can be equipped at the wardrobe in the hub. While equipping those, some simple rules are applied: players cannot equip as many Bonus Trinkets so the Score percentage is equal or less than 0%. Only one Action Trinket can be equipped at a time (Action Trinkets are activated by pressing SPACE), and the Monocle is the only Trinket used to access Hardcore Boss Fights and it's the only Trinket that must be equipped alone.

The Monocle and Hardcore Boss Fights
After finishing the game, players will get the Monocle (31st Trinket) by continuing the game after watching the cutscene. This particular Trinket comes with a stone to be found in the hub. By equipping this special Trinket, players will be granted access to the Hardcore Boss Fights accessible from the world map. Hardcore Bosses are the same story bosses, but they behave as follows: all moves are shuffled, the bosses attack relentlessly without down-times, spells are shuffled, players have only one life. After beating a Hardcore Boss, the stone in the hub will gain a new piece until completion. With the Monocle equipped, the player’s score is highly raised and goes in the same leaderboards as the story mode.

"Everreach: Project Eden" Announced for PC, Xbox One and PS4

Dive into an epic sci-fi action RPG on a breathtaking planet

15 July 2019 After three years in development, Headup is proud to finally reveal Ede Tarsoly’s new masterpiece Everreach: Project Eden, a fast-paced, story-driven 3rd person action RPG set on the visually stunning Planet Eden. You won’t have to wait long as Everreach will release on PC and Xbox One this September, while the PlayStation®4 version will follow a bit later this year.

Ede decided to think big, and for the first time he turned his former one-man  studio Elder Games into a team of five people, plus over a dozen of external freelancers. Together they created a massive 3rd person adventure packed with tactical ground combat, high-speed vehicular warfare and a compelling level and skill system.

In Everreach: Project Eden you play as Nora Harwood, member of Everreach’s Security Division, on a mission to secure the colonization process of Eden and investigate mysterious incidents. Explore this vast alien world and descend into the planet’s depths to discover the ancient secrets of a long-forgotten civilization. Packed with intense shooter action, and a compelling level and skill system, Everreach immerses you in its intriguing story and diversified gameplay.

In addition to his new team, Ede received some help from a group of talented external contributors. For example, Planet Eden's beautiful vistas were co-designed by Mai-Anh Tran, an artist who worked on sci-fi movies such as WarCraft and Star Trek: Beyond. Furthermore, there is Michelle Clough who helped create the game’s enthralling story. She was the former narrative QA and game writer for the Mass Effect trilogy. And even one of the voice actors, D.C. Douglas ("Legion" in Mass Effect 2 and "Wesker" in Resident Evil) adds perfectly to the atmosphere of Everreach: Project Eden.

Without further ado, here is the Reveal Trailer to the game:

Colt Canyon Developer Shoot Out

#1 - The Game's Soundtrack

25 June 2019

Howdy, fellow gunslingers! Great pleasure to welcome you to our first Developer Shoot Out on our pixel art rogue-lite shooter Colt Canyon. Within the next weeks and months we will be sharing tons of news on the steps we are taking to bring Colt Canyon to life. You will also learn how it became this action-packed Wild West adventure full of dangers and atmosperic sceneries.

Let's talk about the music: To make the Western experience as great as possible and allow the players to immerse into a story full of flying bullets, bloodthirsty enemies and dangerous wildlife you need an atmospheric soundtrack that'll  support the story and action on screen - no matter if it's a movie or a game.

Listen to a sample of the soundtrack here

Colt Canyon is no exception. The game is designed in a minimalistic and pixelated style with color, mood and vegetation differing depending on the various regions the players are shooting their way through - and it's the same for the soundtrack.

Luigi-Maria Rapisarda, composer of Colt Canyon's soundtrack: "Endless deserts, smoking colts, saloons in which the whiskey flows, bandits that wanna chase you down and the burning sun in the sky combined with typical instruments like harmonica, fiddle or an old bar-piano - the Colt Canyon soundtrack is inspired by the works of Ennio Morricone on the great Spaghetti Western movies of the 60s and 70s."

Colt Canyon
will be released later this year for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation®4 and Nintendo Switch.
